The link on my site will be back up after the holidaaaaaaazzzzeee but for now please email me at pashwort@gmail.com if you are interested in purchasing one.

SURF THE RAT / DRINK THE BROWN MUGS!!!!

I think it was almost a year ago that I first mentioned the possibility of this happening and it took a little longer than I thought but they are finally here. Gimme! Coffee in Brooklyn, NY decided to use the image for their holiday line. So psyched they are finally out. They are only available at their NYC locations and on their site gimme!coffee.com so get surfin' the rat while you're drinkin' that brown.

Below are some pics of the wild ride this image went through to get into your hands.

I really wanted those little drowned rats hidden at the bottom of every cup but it just didn't seem to work with the shape of the mug.

So glad I didn't use this first colored version.

FAIL!!!!

Welp, I stated about a year ago (fuck, that went reaaaaaallly fast) that I was going to attempt to draw every day for a year. I'm sure you noticed but, I'm gonna come clean; I didn't make it. Lasted about 7 months. C'est la vie. I think I started the whole odyssey with some Halloween themed drawings and we might as well end it that way, with the addition of my Edward Gorey themed a-frame for Gimme! Coffee.

This here is a sneak peek of something bigger that I'll post in a little while. Not too hard to guess what it is.

From the streets to the walls

I've been converting some of my favorite a-frame drawings for Gimme! Coffee into little ink drawings. I don't know why. It makes me feel like a band that tours and only plays the hits but it's fun to see them in a different way. It's also a plus to have something to hold onto long after the chalk has been erased. There'll be a few more to come, eventually.

New York's alright if you ride a longboard

SKATEBOARDING. SO HOT RIGHT NOW. SKATEBOARDING.

A Selection of Sketches

 Scott Walker. Again.

Finally watched the first season of True Detective.

Interpreting a line from one of Charles Bukowski's poems.

Did a couple versions of Mick Fleetwood. You can't tell here but the second drawing is twice the length of the first version I did. I think I could stretch him even more.

The internet, currently.

About a solid 3 years in the making but it's finally here! The board graphic I did for Steez Magazine is finally printed and ready for you to tear it a new one! Or for it to be hung over the fireplace during your fancy wine and cheese parties. It's all up to you. Check out their new issue with the killer(ziinngggg) cover by Cleon Peterson.

The boards are on sale for a cool 40 dollars and come in either 8.25 or 8.5 because that's what real men, and women, ride. Link below:

Juxtapoz Lovin'

Okay. I know I've about wrung this baby dry with all the recent attention but, this really was a high point for me. I figured one more mention of this baby's unstoppable quest to make you laugh and save a friend, or strangers, life would be okay. It's been a good run but I swear I'm done with the shameless promoting of this thing. It is time to make some new work.

Soul Clappin' and Dancing Tornado

Whipped up a new poster for New York Night Train's Soul Clap and Dance Off hosted by the amazing Jonathan Toubin. Go dance yourself to the brink of insanity for some possible cash money prizes on Saturday, September 27th at Brooklyn Bowl.

Mac Demarco had to bow out but don't fear, Buster Poindexter stepped in to save the night!

Space Jamming

I did a quick portrait of Kurt Vile a few months back(pictured directly above) and decided I wanted to revisit it and turn it into more of an anonymous stoner guitar player zoning out while he/she jams in the living room. Note how I did not write 'spacing out' because that shit would just be cheesy.

Some of my work from the last year is currently hanging up on the walls of Gimme! Coffee on Lorimer Street in Brooklyn. Go check it out!!!!!
